We were right, Jack is big.

Jack had his 2 month appointment this morning. It included a basic physical, vaccinations, percentiles for height/weight as well as developmental evaluation. He passed with flying colors and as we suspected he is huge. The 95th percentile for weight!

Water Baby

Jack took his first dip in the pool. He loved it! Another busy weekend that including visits to the San Diego Grandparents, A BBQ with the Asmussen's, & The Wilson Twin's 1st birthday.

Weekend at home

We had a great weekend at home. There were many visitors including Tammy & little Nevada who stayed with us. Here are a few pictures...

4th of July!

It was a picture perfect 4th of July in San Diego. We started the day by attending the Poway "old-fashioned" 4t of July Festival. There were 'old west gun fight' reenactments; crafts for kids; BBQ; Train rides; live music and costumed folks all around. The festival was adjacent to the farmers market.






















After cleaning up and making some yummy appetizers we headed North to the Assmusen's for swimming BBQ & fireworks. This was the best private venue I have ever experienced for fireworks. Their house is positioned high enough to view several shows, but the San Marcos show looked as if it were put on for our party!









It has been a busy weekend. The boys (+Lucy) ended up in a group nap!

Lake Poway

Determined to get out of the house, John, Jack, Lucy & I went to Lake Poway for a picnic lunch & short hike. Jack likes the BabyBjorn carrier & I get a chance to use my hands! The weather is amazing and Lake Poway is a perfect place to enjoy sunshine and scenery. Lucy loved the trails. It was a perfect afternoon getaway!
